As the Algoma district receives its first taste of winter, the telephone requests for information on Ontario's highways are starting to come in to OPP detachments in the region.

The Ministry of Transportation maintains it daily telephone recording of the conditions of area highways. The recording is updated as conditions change throughout the entire region.
