RAID ON HEYDEN HOME FINDS DRUGS AND STOLEN PROPERTY

A raid on a house in Heyden yesterday afternoon resulted in the recovery of $3000.00 in drugs and a stolen generator.

Yesterday at about 12:30 p.m. officers from the Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. Crime Unit and the Joint Forces Drug Unit executed a search warrant a 11 Fisher Trailer Park in Heyden.

The combined efforts of the two units recovered about $3000.00 worth of marihuana, hash and morphine. They also recovered a generator worth about $1500.00 that was stolen from the Ranger Lake area in July of 2001.

Forty-four-year-old Randy Scott, of Fisher Trailer Park in Heyden, will appear in bail court this afternoon to answer to five charges. He has been charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Stolen Property.
