POLICE RESCUE STRANDED SEA-DOOERS
The Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. Marine Patrol assisted two stranded Sea-Dooers yesterday at 3:30 p.m. on Haviland Bay about one kilometre from shore. Amanda Farrell from the Sault and Jordan Law of Haviland Bay had been stranded for about 15 minutes with mechanical problems. They had attempted to paddle to shore but the distance made that impossible.

They had all the proper safety equipment and were wearing lifejackets. They were towed to the local marina. No medical treatment was required.

BONES BELONG TO BEAR
The O.P.P. investigated a report of possible human remains being found near the beach at Old Mill Bay. The remains turned out to be that of a bear as a lower jaw and pronounced canines were discovered among the bones.
