Dog Owner Charged for Actions of His Dogs (Elliot Lake, Ont.) On the 14 April 2005 East Algoma O.P.P. in Elliot Lake received a request from the By-Law officer to assist in an investigation of a Dog Owner.

Dog Owner Charged for Actions of His Dogs

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) On the 14 April 2005 East Algoma O.P.P. in Elliot Lake received a request from the By-Law officer to assist in an investigation of a Dog Owner. The incidents date back to the summer of 2004 when allegations of vicious dogs were made against the owner. Incidents stem from the Dogs allegedly attacking other dogs that were near the residence where the dogs were kept.

Charged with being the owner of a dog and failing to exercise reasonable precautions to prevent the dog from biting and attacking a domestic animal.
Section 7 of the Dog Owners Liability Act is:
53-year-old Olaf REINECKE of 10 Balsam Place Elliot Lake, Ont.
He has been summonsed to appear in court in Elliot Lake for 13 July 2005.
