Motor Vehicle Accident Closes Highway (Elliot Lake, Ont.) - On Wednesday, January 19, 2005 police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 108 approximately four kilometres from the junction of Highway 17 and 108.

Motor Vehicle Accident Closes Highway

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) - On Wednesday, January 19, 2005 police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 108 approximately four kilometres from the junction of Highway 17 and 108. Investigation revealed that a female driver of the vehicle lost control swerving into the south bound lane and in trying to compensate lost control and crossed the center line striking a tractor trailer.

The highway was closed for approximately two hours. Ambulance and fire were on scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to St. Joseph Hospital with minor injuries and the driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.

Charged with Fail to Share Half the Roadway under the Highway Traffic Act is Nancy MILNE (53).
