Garden River First Nation, Ont., A joint R.I.D.E. check with the Anishinabek Police Service and the OPP resulted in two 12 hour suspensions last night.

At about 1:00 a.m. last night officers with the Garden River Detachment of the Anishinabek Police Service and the OPP conducted a R.I.D.E check on Hwy 17 near the Laughing Waters Park.

No charges were laid but two people were issued 12 hour drivers licence suspensions.

GOULAIS RIVER BREAK AND ENTERS

Goulais River, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating three break and enters on Robertson Lake Road in Goulais River.

Sometime over the past ten days vandals forced their way into the three camps and searched the interior of the buildings. They caused some minor damage to the interior of the structures and broke several windows. So far only small hand tools are reported missing.
