R.I.D.E. PROGRAM NABBS THREE DRINKERS
Sault Ste Marie, Ont.,

The Northeast Region Traffic and Marie Unit (R.I.D.E), based out of the Sault Ste Marie detachment, had a productive night in our ongoing battle to combat impaired driving.

Members of the Unit set up R.I.D.E checks at various locations throughout the Sault Ste Marie OPP patrol area. As a result of their efforts, one person was arrested for impaired driving and two other people were issued 12-hour drivers licence suspensions.

Members of the Traffic and MariNe Unit as well as general patrol officers will continue with our enhanced R.I.D.E checks throughout the Christmas and New Years holidays.

Think before you drink-don't drink and drive!!
