The O.P.P. is continuing the investigation into a fatal motor vehicle accident yesterday at 2:50 p.m. on Highway 17 approximately 80 kilometres north of Sault Ste. Marie.

Pronounced dead at the scene were the driver, David Harrison, age 59, and the passenger, his wife, Wanda Harrison, age 56, of Clarkston, Michigan.

The collision occurred when a southbound Harley Davidson motorcycle struck a northbound Honda CRV as it was making a turn from the highway onto a private road.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation and further information will be released by police and posted here upon its completion.
