Break and Enter Echo Bay A residence on Pumpkin Point Road in Echo bay was broken into by forcing a patio door sometime between 8:00am and 4:40 p.m. on the 10th of August.

A residence on Pumpkin Point Road in Echo bay was broken into by forcing a patio door sometime between 8:00am and 4:40 p.m. on the 10th of August. Thieves took a quantity of cash, credit cards and jewelry valued at approximately $5000.00. A green old small car with a Burly male with dark hair was seen in the area of the home.

Cars Entered in Pancake Bay Provincial Park

During he late night hours of 9th and 10th of August 3 unlocked vehicles of campers in Pancake Bay Provincial Park were entered. Stolen from the vehicles was cash and credit cards. Police remind all people to ensure their vehicles are always locked and no valuable property is left in the vehicles. Would be thieves rarely break into vehicles due to the noise this would make.
