Search For Wanted Edmonton Man Unsuccessful

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Tactical and Rescue Unit from London, North East Region Emergency Response Teams, Sault Ste Marie OPP and Thunder Bay OPP Canine teams and officers from the Superior North Detachment assisted by the OPP helicopter were unsuccessful after a 24 hour search for a Edmonton man who is wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for being Unlawfully at large after walking away while on day parole, for a drug charge in Edmonton on the 23rd of February 2006. Jason Bernard Logan age 32 was a passenger in a car stopped for speeding at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon on Hwy#17, 20 km north of the Dubreville Turn off. When questioned about some handgun ammunition found in the car Logan fled into the bush west of the highway.

The public is requested not to pick up any high hikers between White River and Wawa and report anyone seen in that area to the OPP communications center (1-888-310-1122). Logan is 6’1” tall and weighs 165 lbs. He has brown eyes and dark hair. He as last saw wearing a dark coloured hoody, blue jeans and white running shoes.
