ST JOSEPH TOWNSHIP - On June 8, 2017, shortly after 2 p.m., members from the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft at a seasonal residence on Shore Road in St Joseph Township.

A dock had been pulled up well onto the shore last fall. The owner re-attended his seasonal residence and found his dock gone. Tire tracks were observed where the dock had been placed last fall and may have been pushed back into the water (Lake Huron).

The dock is described as a 6'X20' wooden dock with blue Styrofoam floats underneath the dock. The dock had two tires fastened in the middle of the dock so the dock could pivot and be pushed in and out of the water. The value of the dock is worth approximately $1,000.

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this theft should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit information online at www.tipsubmit.com where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
