ZOTOFF, Michael

Posted

He was born to Rita and Nicholas Zotoff in Sept Iles, Quebec on May 11, 1955. Predeceased by his father in 1979. He was raised in Cold Lake Airbase, Alberta where he graduated to go onto University of Alberta for engineering. He joined the ROTC course to become an officer cadet, but went on to seek a career as a furrier instead with his former wife Becky. He managed Con El Fur store. We are all in shock and saddened by his sudden passing. The tears have been shed and now all we have are the fond memories we had with him. All his friends will miss him, his kindness and good humour. He leaves behind his older brother Nick, nephews Nicholas and Alexander and niece Natasha, many cousins in Ontario, Fred (Pauline) Avdeeff, John Avdeeff, Larry Avdeeff (Sechelt, BC), Lorrie (Barry) Locke, Margie Avdeeff, Gail Thomson (Florida) and also cousins throughout California, Aunt Gail and Uncle Harold in Pender Harbour. We would like to thank his very good friend and benefactor Randy Dumanski for his kindness and generosity to Michael. A memorial service will be held at a later date at a Russian Orthodox Church in Vancouver. His ashes will be scattered in the Pender Harbour, British Columbia. Memorial donations to Algoma Residential Community Hospice would be appreciated. (Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 705-759-2522).
