ZELEK, Jozef

Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Sunday August 24,
2008; Jozef Zelek in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Maria for 49 years.
Dear father of John (Laura) and Helen Kwolek (Romuald). Cherished Dziadziu
of Stephanie, David and Joshua. Son of the late Stefania and Stanislaw
Zelek. Brother of Waleria Zelek (Karol), Roza Ozog (Andrzej), and
pre-deceased by Marysia Szewczyk (late Stanislaw), Aleksandra Szewczyk (late
Edward), Piotr (late Marysia) and Andrzej (Fredzia). Brother-in-law of
Marian Wlosinski (Zosia) and the late Wladyslaw Wlosinski (Karolina), the
late Stanislaw Wlosinski (Helena) and the late Jan Wlosinski (Danusia) all
of Poland. Jozef will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road
945-7758) on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers to be held at 8
p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2008 at St. Andrew
Bobola Church at 10:00 a.m.with Father Boguslaw Jarosiek officiating.
Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the St.
Andrew Bobola Church Building Fund or to the Ontario Heart and Stroke
Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
