At his home on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the age of 65.
Son of the late Edward and Shelby Yukich. Beloved husband of the late Brenda Anne Yukich (nee Blais). He will be dearly missed by his children Terri Lynn Blais, Shawn Blais (Carrie) and the late Corey Blais. Proud Papa of Kayla (Kahla), Christian, Cameron, Jaxx, Hartlee and he will be sadly missed by his best friend Kingston Cruze. Dear brother of Johnny Yukich and Mark Yukich (Stephanie). Brother-in-law of Richard Blais (late Marilyn), Margaret Pistor (Frank) and the late Lorraine Sacchetta (late Mike). Brian will be missed by many friends including everyone who crossed his path with his many years employed at Algoma Steel. Brian not only raised his children and grandchildren but if anyone needed a lending hand he was always there to assist with no questions asked. An amazing heart stopped but we know that he is resting with his family which is where he wanted to be. Brian's family would like to share with everyone reading this, that if for whatever reason you may find yourself in the presence of someone struggling with addiction or mental health to remind yourself that they deserve respect and dignity because they may be someone's someone. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. At the request of the family there will not be a funeral service.
