It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of a truly remarkable mother, Nonna and Bis Nonna at the Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, November 7, 2009 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her loving husband Matt. Devoted and loving mother of Sandra Kantautas (Vetus), Marilyn Parisi (Joseph), Wayne (Carrie Sandie). Cherished Nonna of Lisa, Michael (Laurie), Shaun (Kristi), Alicia, Matt (Erin), Aron (Julie) and Bis Nonna of Alexis. Predeceased by her parents Valentino & Josephine Martin and her brother Angelo (Annie). Sister-in-law of Minnie Cedolia (late Armand), Kay Yukich (late Martin), Victor Hupka (late Elsie) and Joe Grisevich (Jeannine). Predeceased by her brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Mary Grisevich, Helen Morosini (Louis), Dora Yukich and Rose Yukich. Fondly remember by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 11 am - 1:30 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from St. Gregory’s Catholic Church at 2 pm. Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 10 am. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund or the SAH Palliative Care Fund would be appreciated. Mom, your love for your family was immeasurable. You lived your life with kindness, love and compassion. You gave us precious memories too beautiful to forget. We would like to thank all the staff and friends at the Great Northern Retirement Home and express our sincere gratitude to the angels that took care of our mother in the Palliative Care Unit. You were truly remarkable. Thank you to Dr. Beuhner for your care and compassion.
