Peacefully at home with family on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the age of 77. Son of the late James “Jimmie” Young and the late Marie Hall Young Landry. Brother of the late Gladys Joyce Deschene (late Fred “Dewey”), the late Bill Young (Anita) (late Nancy) of Wawa, Ken Young (Marlene) (late Shirley) of Sault Ste Marie, and the late Paul Young (Joanne). Father of Della-Marie Iley, the late Ramona Young, Rob Young of Calgary, AB, Angelisa Mills and Jake Young of Emerson, MB. Grandfather of 11 and Great-grandfather of 9. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bob is known to many in the transportation industry from his years of extensive travel throughout Canada and the US. Dabbling in charter boats after his retirement gave him great satisfaction. Memorial service at 2 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Pinehill Church of Christ (132 Cunningham Road, Sault Ste. Marie, ON). Mr. Lloyd Hotchkiss officiating. Memorial contributions to the Soup Kitchen would be appreciated by the family.
