Peacefully at the General Hospital with her family by her side on Friday, November 3, 2006 at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late William Young. Loving mother of Gerald (Mary), Bill, Jack, Gayann Davey (Reginald), Christina Behrens (Alfred “Skip”), Reginald (Marsha), the late Shirley McCrea (Don) and the late Ted (late Sandra). Proud grandmother of 26 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret Shields (late Jim), Isabelle Wyatt (late Archie), Gwyneth Warren (late George) and brother Stanley Jenkins (late Ivy). Dorothy will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a life member of the White Shrine, Eastern Star Nokomis Chapter #70 and the Victory Rebekka Lodge. A memorial service will take place at Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 1 pm. Rev. Benny Kiersdam officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
