Suddenly at home on Monday, September 25, 2023.
Kelly leaves behind with sad sad hearts his wife of 46 years Jo-Anne (McPhail), his boys Jacob and Darren and daughter-in-law Sarah. His pride and his joy were in his grandchildren Paige, Meadow and Michael. Reunited with his mother and father Lois and Morley Woods and brother Ted. Left to remember are his sister Delena Senecal and husband Tom, brother Tim Woods and wife Joan, sister Ann Woods and David Woods and wife Mildred. Treasured uncle to Steven, Tami, Casey, Joe, Sheena, Lori, Tom, Vitalia and their families. Also left behind mother-in-law Audrey McPhail, Aunt Shirley Orr and her husband Gordon, Theresa Towell and their families. Cherished uncle Bob King and families. Uncle Kel to the Towell Clan, the Senecal Gang and the Hall Girls.
Watching nature bloom from spring through fall at Cooper Lake. Cheering for the Leafs and the Vikings through good & bad. Talking sports with his boys and friends, any day on the golf course were great times for him.
Kelly enjoyed catching up with the boys he coached in hockey, the fellows he played softball, broomball, worked with and all his buddies from Thessalon.
Thank you to our family and friends who have held us up these last difficult days. The food, the calls, the messages, the memories mean so much to us.
Kelly's wished were that there be no funeral service. A time of cheer will be chosen at a later date. Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery in Thessalon will also be at a later date. Memorial contributions (payable online or by cheque) to the Soo Pee Wee Hockey League, Thessalon Legion Branch 182 or a charity of your choice.
