Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2009. Gwenfil was a beloved wife of the late Raynor Woods, cherished mother of Sally and the late Joan Levy and Michael Woods, and loving grandmother of Ryan, Adam, Drew and Morgan Levy and Katharine, Sam, Emily and Matthew Woods. The family would like to thank the staff at the Great Northern Nursing Center for creating both a nuturing and fun environment during her time there. We would also like to thank all of her wonderful friends for loving and supporting her for so many years. There will be a family service held in Toronto, and a public memorial service in Sault Ste. Marie in August. Gwen supported many causes, but held particular fondness for the World Wild Life Fund, the Humane Society, Covenant House and the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.
