WOODCOCK, Theresa

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Theresa Loretta Woodcock, with her family at her side, at the Sault Area Hospital on December 8th, 2021, at the age of 92.

Her gifted hands created wonderful paintings in all mediums as well as teaching it and most often giving freely of her talent, as she believed when God blesses you with a talented gift you should share it freely with others by giving it away. She also created beautiful jewelry and anything and everything pertaining to art.

Her infectious and beautiful smile was an emanation of her kind and loving heart and was loved by all who knew her. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Her insight she had into a hurting heart was phenomenally spiritual.

She will be sadly missed by her brother Clifford Frost of Burlington, her devoted children Lana (John) Zeppa, Janice (Patrick) Ducharme, Brent (Angelina), Byron (Sherry), Luke (Jennifer) and adoring grandchildren Richie (Lisa), Vicki (Jim Marinelli), Stephen (Paris) Ducharme, Michael Ducharme, Kassandra, David, Kristien (Crystal), Stephanie, Chris, Jana, Tyler, Colton, great grandchildren, Xael Ducharme, Laeden, Addelyn, Keenen, Era, Connor, Xander Hazzard, Alyssa Hazzard  & Fritzie (shi tzu).

A special thank you to the exceptional care and nursing staff at the Sault Area Hospital and the tender care and compassion during our Mother’s stay at Great Northern Retirement & Collegiate Heights Retirement Home.

A private family celebration of life will be postponed until spring or later.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society Sault Ste Marie & Algoma District (made payable to or online)
