Surrounded by his family, at the F.J. Davey Home on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the age of 71. Cherished son of Edna and the late Charles Wood.  Dear brother of Mavis (Dutch), Judy (Bill), Iona (Garry), Eldon (Cheryl) and Rod (Penny).  Special uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Best friend of Dick and June Denes.  Family and friends are invited to the Hilton Beach Community Hall for a time of fellowship and refreshment in honour of John’s life on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.  Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre.  www.northwoodfuneral.com
