With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Vera Wissell, who departed from this world on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the age of 89. She passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of strength, independence, and love.
Born on November 29th, 1934, Vera epitomized resilience and determination throughout her life. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Armand, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion.
Vera will be missed by her children, Nancy Lind, Judy Kerr (Robert), late Wayne Wissell (Nancy) and Keith Wissell (Laurie). She was a loving and supportive grandmother to her grandchildren, Bill Lind (Jodie), Robert Lind (Mariechen), Jason Webb (Melanie), Robert Derbyshire (June), James Kerr (Nicky), Jennifer Bond (Chris), Michelle Sturgeon (Tyler), Kris Kerr (Chanel), Lindsey Spina (Sonny), Jesse Wissell, Aaron Wissell (Crystal) and Crystal Kroeker (David). She will be missed by her many great-grandchildren with whom she shared a special bond.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
