Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 6, 2019, surrounded by her family at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia, ON. A private family service was held at Smith Funeral Home on September 10, 2019. She will be remembered by her loving family. Beloved mother of Penny Longstreet, Jane McLachlan (Dave) and Robert Longstreet Jr (Gloria). Grandmother of Brooke Garvin (Brandon), Michael Anderson (Raniyah), Kirsten Southcombe, Jaret Southcombe, Kristen Cook (Brett) and Katie Longstreet. Great-grandmother of Piper and Posie Garvin, Aurora and Trinity Southcombe, and Rori Cook. Predeceased by her granddaughter Jillian Anderson (Penny) (1983). Sister of Lillian Roe (Chuck), Judy Tourigny and Donna-Kay Possamai (Ross). Predeceased by brothers Carl and Richard Wilton. Donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice Sarnia, ON. Sincerest gratitude to the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospice for their kindness, care and compassion during Shirley’s time there.
