September 1, 1934 – November 19, 2021
We are saddened to announce the passing of Sylvia Wilson’s life-long partner, friend, and husband of 64 years. Cherished father of Warren and Marty Wilson. Very loved Uncle to Lynn Tomie. He was special brother of Bill Williams (Sylvia) of Vancouver Island, the late Jean and late Colleen. Brother-in-law of the late Jerry Tomie (Hawk), late Aggie Mancuso (Sonny), Bernie Tomie (late Pat), and Larry Tomie (Antoinette).
Warner was a quiet man of few words, and was most comfortable “in the bush”, or “on a lake” – fishing, hunting, ski-dooing, skiing and anything outdoors. In later years, he continued to visit the “hunt camp” with his best buddy, Marvin Armstrong.
For most of his life, he started or ended his day, having coffee and a bite to eat with his Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Mary and Angelo Tomie.
He enjoyed many years with family and friends in, and around the beautiful in-ground pool, where many a meal and beverage were shared, and memories made.
He will be forever missed, and we will hold him close in heart and memories.
In keeping with Warner’s wishes, there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place. I’m lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sault Kennel Club or charity of your choice.
