Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday,
August 21, 2009 at the Sault Area Hospital in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late James. Loved mother of the late Paul. Much loved mother-in-law of Karen (John
Anderson). Cherished aunt and great aunt of Alyson Robinson (Rick), Kristine Thomas and Ian & Aaron Robinson. Dear sister-in-law of Joan Shannon (Don Vardy). Special
"Mom" to Darryl Boseley of Traverse City. Predeceased by her parents Roger and Edith Thomas and brothers Roger and Spark "Bud" Thomas. She will be remembered by her
extended family; the Willerts in the U.S. and the Thomas' in the U.K. Emily was an active member of the Rebekah Lodge where she celebrated 50 years in 2005. Friends
