Peacefully at the Great Northern Nursing Centre on Friday, August 20, 2010; Velma passed away in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Wierzbicki. Loving mother of JoAnn Sorrenti (Frank), the late Robert (Brenda), Donald (Laurel), Dorothy Gillespie (Larry), Tom (Dianna), Beverly and Janice (Wayne Scott). Grandmother of 15, great grandmother of 24 and great great grandmother of 2. Daughter of the late Myrtle and George O’Neill. Sister of Peggy Bender (Tom), Reta LeBlanc (late Earl) and predeceased by Dorothy Porter, George, Pat, Terry, Roy, Tom, Earl, Charlie and Bill O’Neill. Sister-in-law of Anna Soltys (late Henry). Velma will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
