(July 5, 1953 - January 20, 2023)
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our sweet mother, Patti Wieczor. Loving wife of John Wieczor, of 48 years. Cherished and adored mother of RJ (Johanna), Alicia Doucette (Justin), Ashley (Shawn), and Andrew (Jasmine). Patti was loved so much by her grandchildren Benjamin, Stella, Thomas and Lucy. Dear sister of Bob Jr. (Sonia) (late Sharon) and Susan (late Danny). Patti has now been reunited with her beautiful parents, Margaret and Bob Caple. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Best friend of Suzie and Heather.
Our Momsey was a walking angel, and loved her family more than anything. Her passing has shattered our hearts, due to the tremendous amount of love we all feel for her. Patti was everyone’s biggest supporter, and had the best and most contagious laugh. Her home was a welcomed space for everyone; all who entered were made to feel like family. She radiated kindness, patience and love and always saw the best in everyone and everything. Anyone who met her, couldn’t help but love her.
She had so many great friends from different areas of her life, and enjoyed hosting gatherings and parties – she made sure nobody left her house without having a great time. She loved animals (and they loved her) and you never knew who’s dog she would be watching when you went over to visit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially those of us who called her “Ma” “Momsey” “Gawmy” and “Gagoo”. She is our guardian angel now.
We would like to thank the kind staff of the ICU at the Sault Area Hospital for going above and beyond for our Mom and our family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Northern Critters in Need, TAAG, Sault Area Hospital ICU or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Friends and family are welcomed at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. - 705-759-2522). on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Memorial service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
