WHITE, Martha

Peacefully at the General Hospital with her son by her side on
Sunday, September 7, 2008 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Frees.
Loving mother of Chuck Frees (Linda). Proud Nana of Sheldon (Marnie), Todd (Wendy),
Chris (Candy) and Greg. Cherished great grandmother of Brittany, Brandon and
Madison. Martha is predeceased by her sisters Lillian Marshall, Ada Hill (late
Jack), Annie Marshall, Mabel Brown (late Harve) and Mary McAuley (late Raymond) and
by her brother Dave Marshall (Martha). Martha will be sadly missed by her many
nieces and nephews. Martha worked for many years at Bell Canada and became
affectionately known as "Ma Bell" by her colleagues. Martha continued her active
membership alongside her fellow Pioneer Retirees. She also remained active at the
Senior Drop In Centre alongside her Bridge friends. Friends may call at the Arthur
Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 11 am until
time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating. A
graveside service will take place at a later date at the Bellingham United Church
