Passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
Beloved husband of Jean White for 59 years. Father of Janice White (Jake) and Noel (Merrie-Dawn). Brother of Nancy Ferland, Penny Higham and Debbie Pigeon. Brother-in-law of Lois Harack. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Margaret White and his brothers Keith and Mark. Grant will be greatly missed by his cousin and best friend Bob Turner and many other friends and family.
Grant was an avid Soo Greyhounds fan and loved spending his time out in the woods with Bob hunting, in a group they called the "One-eyed hunting party". He was a proud member of the Elks for many years and drove the Oncology van to Sudbury. Grant spent the best part of his working life at the Sault Ste. Marie Transit working as a Bus Driver and proudly retired as an Inspector after 20+ faithful years.
Cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
