Ed passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at the age of 95.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 71 years, Dorothy. Cherished father of Craig (Beth) and Karen Madigan (Brad). Proud grandpa to Keely Madigan, Cameron Madigan, Connor Madigan, and Amelia West. Brother to Gladys Benson (late Harry), and the late Doris McLean (late John). Also, he will be missed by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Hopper, Dr. Apostle, homecare nurses, and personal support workers who provided care for dad over the past week. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque) may be made to Central United Church, where dad ushered for many years. A private family funeral service will be held with Rev. Laurie Milito officiating.
