WATSON, Roger David, age 67, of Echo Bay, Ontario passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
Loving husband to Melodee Watson. Cherished father of Lee (Stephanie), Robbie (Leya), Jacey (Melissa) and Jared. Beloved grandfather of Liam, Logan, Corbin, Emery, Caydence, Brinley, Josephine, Zoey, and Olivia. Son of the Late Jean and Joe Watson. Brother of Lynn (Denise) Watson, the Late Leslie and Donald Watson. Son in Law of Marilyn Ross and the Late Ron Ross Sr.. Brother in Law of Ron (Pam) Ross, Lane (Fran) Ross, and the Late Marilee (Don) Rheaume. Roger will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Roger was most passionate about watching his grandkids doing the things they enjoyed the most. Roger loved the outdoors and spending time with the crew at Long Lake and their regular Thursday night outings. You could regularly find him out on his four wheeler, his snowmachine or in his garden.
A visitation for Roger will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel, 492 Wellington St. East, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Echo Bay, Ontario. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made payable by cheque or online in Roger's honour to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the ALS Society of Canada.
