WALKER, Ruth Jessie

Peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 30, 2011.  Successful and loving mother of Robert Walker (Narelle) of Coogee, Australia and Peter Walker (Nancy) of Smith Falls, Ontario.  Adoring grandmother of Isaac, Elijah, Josiah and Jessica Walker.  Beloved sister of Robert Ellis (Jane) of Fenelon Falls.  Daughter of the late Percy and Lavada Ellis of Fenelon Falls, Ontario.  Special friend to many including those at Pointe Louise.  Ruth was active in the cultural life of the community, an original member of the Algoma Chamber Singers and longstanding member of the St. Luke’s Choir.  Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 6 – 9 pm.  Funeral service at St. Luke’s Cathedral on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 1 pm.  Dean J.
