Peacefully on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Thessalon Hospital. Vina Walker of Thessalon passed away at the age of 89. Wife of the late Calvert. Predeceased by her son late Robert (Brenda Leach). Grandmother of Joanne Bailey of the Yukon, Connie Clinton (Rick) of Wharncliffe, and Lawrence Walker of Salmon Arm, B.C. Great grandmother of Matt (Stacey), Zeb (Sarah), Luke Clinton (Ashley), Jen Anderson (Bryan), James Bailey (Amanda), Victoria, Lawrence Jr., Leslie Walker and Kelsey Lewis. Great-great grandmother of 12.
Dear sister of Gloria (late Albert), Elva (late Orville), Norma (late Jack), Edna, and Frieda (Bill). Predeceased by brothers Bert (Barbara), and Ervin Hicks (Iris), and sisters Joyce (late Lyman), and Lily (Wilfred). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 7-9 pm. Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11 am.
