December 2, 1933 - April 13, 2024

Passed away peacefully at Blind River Hospital with family by her side in her 91st year. Bernice is joining her loving husband Ralph and her sisters Dolores and Marlene and many other late family members. She leaves behind her children Jacob, Dixie, Mark (Fran), Luke (Samantha), and Matthew and her brother Rudy (Sandra). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bernice lived much of her married life in Woodstock, Ontario and then retired to Elliot Lake with her husband Ralph. Most recently she had been living with family in the same house where she was born.

Bernice loved nothing more than scrapbooking with her many scrapbook friends. She was a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, she loved to cook, laugh, and visit with family. With her playful and silly nature, she was a delight to everyone she encountered. Her recent 90th birthday celebration was a testament to the impact she had on those around her.

We will miss her smiling face and gentle hugs!

Family and friends are invited to visit at Beggs Funeral Home, 175 Main Street, Thessalon, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, beginning at 11am until time of service at 1pm. Leah Carson officiating. Light lunch following service.

Donations in memory of Bernice can be made to NSHN-Blind River Site.

Arrangements entrusted to Beggs Funeral Home.
