Passed away peacefully in her 97th year at the F.J. Davey Home with family by her side on Saturday, February 23, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Harry P. Waite in 1982. Viola is survived by her children Llewellyn (Lindy) friend Ann, Wayne (Marguerite), Trevor (Elizabeth), Juanita Curran (Paul), Rhoda Slagel, and daughter-in-law Jeannette. Viola was the first born child of the late Penman and Edith Dool. She is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Loving sister of the late Nora and Everett Johnson, Elgantine Cudlipp (late Raymond), late Penman and Violet, late Stanley (Norma), late Sidney (Donna), late Luella and Roy Pitcher, Lloyd (late Peggy, late Hellen), Iris Chalmers (late George), Clayton (Kay, late Millie), Leslie (late Arlene) and Donald (late Shirley). Viola will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews with whom she shared her life. A private family service was held on Monday, February 25, 2008 at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Donations to ARCH, SAH or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
