Nora, cherished and loving wife for 49 years to Maxwell Wagner; loving mother to Joan Zachary-Curtin (Maurice) and Kenneth Perry (Laurel). The joy of her life was her grandchildren to whom she was devoted and so very proud: Jason Zachary (Tara), Trevor Zachary (Julie), Kara Benka (Chris), Rachelle Hawryluk, Kenneth Perry Jr. and Sheldon Bourassa. The light in her life was her family and the crowning glory were her great grandchildren: Ava Zachary, Halle, Ty and Ella Zachary, Abbi and Carter Benka, Tiffany and Christopher Hawryluk, and Hunter Bourassa. Nora is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Sterling Crocker, Lorna Shaffstall (Dick), Phyllis Barrett (Roy), Shirley Leach, and Chesley Crocker (Margaret). Sister in law of Earl Wagner (Ruth), Annie Bradley (late John), Ferne Hillier (late Arthur), Barbara Bedley (late Bob) and Crystal McPhee. Predeceased by her parents Elias and Clarice Crocker, Brother James Crocker (Ivy), brothers in law Karl Wagner Jr. (Edna), Moran Wagner (Faye), in laws Karl and Laura Wagner and niece/godchild Beverly Crocker-Ruetz. She will be forever in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own! To all who touched her life on this final journey, our thanks. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 from 6 to 9 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 11 a.m. Major Paul Wood officiating. Interment at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery in Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army or the Palliative Care Unit of the Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated.
