VERDONK, Hubert

Passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie, Friday, June 23, 2006 at the age of 86. Born in Best, Holland, he immigrated with his wife to Sault Ste. Marie in 1952 where he worked at Adam's Welding until his retirement in 1984. Beloved husband of Fransina, predeceased 1984. Special friend to Cora Konings of Fort Erie. Loving father to Bert Verdonk of Espanola, Marina O'Connor (Michael) of Capreol, and Mary Serhan (David) of Calgary. Cherished grandfather to Melinda Black (Alex), Rebecca Thompson, Angele Verdonk, Francina Bertrand (Christopher), Clayton Serhan and Siobhan O'Meara. Survived by two sisters in Holland as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Holland and Belgium. Arrangements entrusted to the O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home.
