Velonic, Emilija (née Bozeglav)

Peacefully at the Finnish Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 5 in her 76th year, Beloved wife of 50 years to Mike (passed in May of 2009), and loving mother of Carmen (Mike) of Sault Ste. Marie and Larry (Nicola) of Vancouver, Cherished Grandmother to Jaime, Alex, Michaela, Liam and Sebastian. She will also be missed by family across Slovenia, and Europe as well as many dear friends and relatives from Port Credit, Southern Ontario, Sault Ste. Marie, and from the loving family at the Finnish Rest Home. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home where a family service honouring her life was held Friday, July 8, Rev. Mr. Len Monico officiating. The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the dedicated and compassionate staff at the Finnish Rest Home, Mauno Kaihla Koti. Donations to the Finnish Rest Home Association in lieu of flowers would be appreciated. Our memories of your loving, compassionate nature and your dignity, grace and wit will always be cherished Emilija (Milly).
