Peacefully at Mauno Kaihla Koti on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 in his 91st year. Devoted husband of Bertha for 67 years. Loving father of Jorma (Cecelia) and Elizabeth Oja (Martin). Grandfather of Trudy Gabrylewicz (Paul), Janet Muszynski (David), Steven Oja (Sandra) and Trevor Vaittinen (Shelley). Great grandfather of 5. Predeceased by his 13 siblings. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Finland. A private family service was held on Thursday, June 29, 2006. Rev. Raija Perttula officiated. Special thanks to the staff at Mauno Kaihla Koti for their excellent care and support. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association would be appreciated by the family.
