Passed away peacefully in her 98th year at the Algoma Manor on Friday August 2, 2013. Wife of the late Bill (1977). Dear mother of Jane, Katie Hernden (Charlie), Marian Cowen (late Lyle), Bill Jr. “Jigger” (Margi), Jackie (predeceased in 1953) and Alice Wonch ( late Edwin ). Loving Grandmother of Chad Crosson ( Lori Middaugh ), Craig Crosson ( Mardi ), Joanne Brock (Bob ), Lyle Cowen Jr., Lisa Dinsmore (Ron), Ian Cowen (Karry), Derek Turner (Andrea), Megan Mcmillan (Brent), Melanie Wonch, Jessica Wonch-McBain ( Gord ) and Jason Wonch ( Ashley ). Great grandmother of 19. Predeceased by her siblings Alice, Josie, Tom, Kathleen, Johnny and Mabel. Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home Thessalon on Tuesday August 6, 2013 from 7 to 9pm and on Wednesday August 7, 2013 from 1pm until time of service at 2 o’clock with Pastor Charlie Martin officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery with refreshments to follow at the funeral home.
