It is with a saddened heart that I announce the passing of my beloved wife and best friend. Despite a courageous and lengthy battle, the Lord took her home from the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the age of 61 with myself (Brian) by her side.
Predeceased by her parents Simon and Maria Christ, and her brother Simon. Ingrid will be sadly missed by her mother-in-law Rhona (late Patrick). Sister-in-law of Neil (Anne) and aunt of Rebekah.
Ingrid will be deeply missed by her best friends Lynn Fields, Kay Douglas and Tracey Wards, as well as Elijah Fera whom Ingrid was both a Mentor and a friend. She will be missed by many others, as she made friends wherever she went. She enjoyed being happily retired, driving around in her little roadster with the top down as well as basking in the sun while she glamped (camped) at her trailer.
A special Thank-you to Dr. Fera, Dr Gu, Dr. Bignall, and Dr Shafiee as well as the nurses in 3C at the SAH for all their help and support.
At her request a private service has been held. A graveside service will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Humane Society, Liver Foundation or Gideons International Canada would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522).
Ingrid, I love you with all my heart. We almost made it to 10 years, and we had fun together getting there. Watching Hallmark movies will not be the same without you! Brian
