It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marion at home surrounded by her loving family and her music on Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Devoted and loving wife of Ernie. She was an amazing mother of eight wonders and their spouses and a forever loved and cherished Gram to her sixteen precious jewels. Sister-in-law of Joyce Wilson (late Tom), Don Trudeau (Brenda), Betty Seed (John), Deanna VanMidde (Gordon), Dorothy Sharpe (Milton) and Gary Trudeau (Trudy). The family invite you to join them for a memorial celebration of Marion’s life on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 136 Cathcart Street, at 10 am. Rev. Deon Slabbert officiating. Flowers gratefully declined as Marion wished that you treat a child to an ice cream, share a special time with your family and remember her with a smile. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in support of the Children’s Breakfast Program or a charity of your choice.
