TORQUATO, Aurelio

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of a dear father
and nonno after losing his battle with cancer on Monday, May 9, 2005, at the Plummer
Memorial Hospital; Aurelio Torquato at the age of 74 years. Loving husband of the
late Michelina Torquato (nee Maida). Loving father of Pat (Brenda) and Marie Kim
(Bill). Nonno of Stephanie and Zachary Torquato. Beloved son of the late Lisa and
Pasquale Torquato of Italy. Brother of; Luigi, Maria, Teresina, Anina of Italy and
Angela Torquato of New York. Son-in-law of the late Umberto and Tommasina Maida of
Italy. Brother-in-law of Michele Maida (Erminia). Uncle of; Franca DiLollo (late
Rocco), Umberto Maida, Gina Cicchelli (Nat) and many nieces and nephews. Friends
may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on
Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Thursday, May
12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at Holy
Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital
Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the Palliative
Care Unit and the Windsor Park Retirement Residence Administration and Staff for
their loving care.
