Mother of Dianne Tookenay. Sister-Grandmother of Venessa, Alex, Talon, Rowin and the late Michael Tookenay. Sister of Joanne and Harold Tookenay. Aunt of Cheryl, Vincent, Phyllis, Joyce and Charlotte Tookenay and Evelyn McWatch and Jeffrey Desmoulin. Cousin to the late Antoine Moses along with all his children/grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her parents, Abraham and Charlotte Tookenay and siblings Kenneth, Felix, Clara, Rosa, Mary Jane, Henry, Rudolf and Bernard.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday February 8, 2024, and Friday February 9, 2024, from 5:00pm-9:00pm at O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St., Sault Ste. Marie, ON). A Funeral Mass will be held at Precious Blood Cathedral (778 Queen St. E) on Saturday February 10, 2024, at 1:00pm with Father Jeff Shannon officiating. Memorial donations can be made to any Residential School Survivor Event or Function. Acknowledgement to all the helpers of Victoria’s care especially cultural people in the community.
