TONG, Mary Rolande Lucienne (Lucy) - Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, January 21, 2024 with family at her side.
Beloved wife of the late Bill Tong. Caring mother of Sue-Anne Johnson (Jim), Marie-Lynne Potvin (Gary), Chuck (Heather), Thomas, Robert (Monica) and Kim. Proud grandma of Celina, Bryce, Michael, Emily, Jason, Kylie (Dylan), Alexis, Kris, Jessica (Cody), Jordan and Corbin. Great grandma of Emma, Ivy, Logan, Kaysen, Jacob and Beau. Daughter of the late Yvette and Leon Piche. Sister of Jennine Edward, Theresa Gionette, Collette, Colleen Lacasse, and predeceased by Leona Gagne, Roland, Andre and Lucille. Lucy will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lucy was a very caring person, especially towards her children and grandchildren. Lucy had a proud passion for ancestry and enjoyed spending hours researching family genealogy.
A private gathering will be held at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions by cheque or online to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
