It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Louise at the age of 76 with her husband and soulmate by her side. Cherished wife and best friend of Lloyd Thomas for 56 years. Predeceased by her infant son, Mark Anthony. Special mother of Shawna Lee Wilson (Darren), the late Trevor Lloyd and Trina Louise Avery (Brent). Proud Nonna of Connor and Taylor Wilson, Owen and Greyson Avery. Special "Nonna" to many. Daughter to the late Rose and Louis Guzzo. Much loved sister to the late Joan Reed (late Herb), the late Diane Guzzo, Shirley Whalen (John), Louis Guzzo Jr. (late Sharon), the late Dennis Guzzo, late Penny Roussain, Wendy Guzzo, Pamela McGonegal (Brad) and Gail Guzzo. Special Auntie "Ducky" to many nieces and nephews. Much loved sister-in-law to the Thomas family.

Louise will be fondly remembered by her Rand Lake family, numerous friends and neighbours with whom she shared her love of baking with over the years. Nothing made Nonna happier than watching her grandchildren grow up. After a hard fought battle she endured for her family she can now rest peacefully knowing she's in the comfort of many loved ones.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic for their care and compassion over the last 2 plus years, especially Dr. Rassouli, Jennifer, Lawson and Kristy Johnson as well as the rest of the amazing nursing staff of 3B. The family would also like to thank Dr. Shaffie and the amazing palliative care team that supported us in these last difficult weeks.

Friends and family are invited to visit the Marconi Hall on Thursday January 4, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm for a Celebration of Life in Louise's honour. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E., 705-759-2522). Please visit www.arthurfuneralhome.com obituaries section to leave a message of condolence as a keepsake for the family.
