THOMAS, Carol

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital (Plummer Site) with her family
by her side on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Carol Ann Thomas (Pigeon) at the age of
65. Beloved wife of the late Charlie Thomas and loving mother of Mark (Paula) and
Chris (Annette). Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Stephanie, Andrea and Samantha.
Daughter of Terry Hoad-Reddick (Glenys) and the late Germaine. Dear sister of
Harold (Shirley), Edward (Brenda), Jack (Fern), Reginald, Rick (Heather), the late
Don (late Peggy) and the late Elaine Cuncic (late Dave). Sister-in-law of Ann
Cushley (late Jack), Margaret Thomas (Jim) and Wilf Thomas (Jane). Carol will be
sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by her many friends
with whom she enjoyed dancing and listening to local country bands. Friends may
call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, November 14, 2008 from
6 - 9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 10 am.
Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be
appreciated. The Thomas family would like to express their gratitude to the staff
of the Cancer Unit, Palliative Care and especially Dr. Walde at the Sault Area
Hospital for the care, compassion and professionalism shown to Carol while she was
in their care. They would also like to thank the relatives and friends for the
support given to them during their mother's illness. Special thanks to Aunties Ann
and Marg and Dawn Sloss for all they've done during Carol's illness.
