THIBEAULT, Romeo

Surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 15, 2012; Romeo Raymond Thibeault went home to the Father.  Beloved husband of Anne for 46 years.  Devoted father of Mary Alice (Michael), Amy (Jeff) and Laurie (Todd).  Loving Papa of Sarah, Joshua, Matthew, Sabyne, Willamina and Tejas.  Dear brother of the late Ernie (Theresa), late Cecile Walton (Glenn), late Roger (Donna), late Jeannine Riley (late Lloyd), Claudette Proulx (Gilles), Georges (Fay) and Carole Buffam (late Jack).  Dear brother-in-law of Blanche DeLuca.  He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Romeo had a long and dedicated career as an educator and religious education consultant in Englehart, Germany and Sault Ste. Marie.  He shared his passion for running, skiing, curling, gardening, fishing, cooking and his beautiful Lake Wendigo with all those he loved.  Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.  Funeral mass to be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Father Pat Woods officiating.  Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul or The Companions of the Cross would be appreciated by the family.  www.northwoodfuneral.com
