With deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Ernie, peacefully at home, on Friday, June 30, 2006 in his 81st year. Loving husband and best friend of Thérèse (née Parent) for 55 years. Cherished father of Diane Strumila (John) and Claire Frenette (André). Much loved Pepère of Joel Trottier (Christin), David Frenette, Justin Strumila and his special granddaughter Julie Frenette. Dear brother of Cecile Walton (Glenn), Roger (Donna), Jeannine Riley (late Lloyd), Claudette Proulx (Gilles), Georges (Suzanne), Romeo (Anne) and Carol Buffam (Jack). Brother-in-law of Donald Parent (Donna), Raymond Parent (Gisèle) and the late Léo Parent (late Françoise). He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, July 10, 2006 from 6-9 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated from Paroisse Ste-Marie-du-Sault on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at 11 am.
