THAXTER, Phyllis

Of Webbwood, passed away at the Espanola General Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald (1990). Dear daughter of the late William and Gertrude (nee Meierhoff) Simpson. Loving mother of Fred (Sue) of Webbwood, Rodney (Alvina) and Patrick both of McKerrow, Kenneth (wife JoAnne) of Kapuskasing and the late Bob and Bonnie. Will be sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Very dear sister of Mrs. Carol Mooney of Sault Ste. Marie, Jewel (Mrs. Stanley Martin) of Desbarats and the late Roger and Lawrence Simpson, Anna Bahry and Evelyn Smith. Friends may call at the Bourcier Funeral Home, Espanola on Friday, December 16th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service in the Chapel with the Reverend Cathy Russell officiating. Interment in the Massey Grandview Cemetery. If so desired, Memorial tributes may be made tot he Canadian National Institute for the Blind or the Northern Cancer Research Foundation.
